is my computer 32 or 64 bit in Windows 1078XP - How to check & tell

if anyone asks from you – please tell what is your Operating system + which bit OS – 32 bit or 64 bit, which one? but after hearing bit word, we do not give an answer to that question. Now don’t worry after coming to this page, because from here you can easily check what is my computer bit (32 or 64 bit) inside windows 10, windows 8, Windows XP, Windows 7, etc.

How to check-in Windows 10,( check whether you’re using a 32-bit or 64-bit version)

[step]Method 1 [/step]

  • Simply Open your Windows 10 laptop or desktop, then simply type “syst” on search box for searching “System” page.
  • simply click on System page when it comes in the search result.
  • A new window will open. Under System, check System Type. If you have a 64-bit Operating system then there 64-bit operating system will be written otherwise, there is be a 32-bit operating system written.
  • In my case, it is showing “64-bit Operating system” that means, in my computer, 64 bit OS is present.

[step]Method 2 [/step]

  • Open laptop or desktop, type system information on the search box to open the System Information page.
  • Once System Information page comes in the search result then click on it.
  • A new window will open, Just below the system model, Check System type, If you have a 64-bit Operating system then there 64-bit operating system will be written otherwise, there is be a 32-bit operating system written.
  • In my case, it is showing x64-based PC, that means, in my PC, 64 bit OS is present.

  • Open your laptop or desktop, then simply press the Windows button + X button on the keyboard at the same time, then click on system option.
  • A new window will open. Under Device Specifications, check for System Type. If you have a 64-bit Operating system then there 64-bit operating system will be written otherwise, there is be a 32-bit operating system written.
  • In my case – it is showing “64-bit operating system,x64 based processor”  that means, in my PC, 64 bit OS is present.

[step]Method 4 – Online Method – Check-in 1 click [/step]

  • Simply visit this page – os_bit_checker.
  • After visiting this page, there will be showing in the big bold letter – ” Your OS is Windows (any)* 64-bit or 32 bit“.
  • In my computer, there showing – “Your OS is Windows 10* 64-bit“. That means, in my computer, 64 bit OS is present.

How to check-in Windows 7 (Do I Have 32-Bit or 64-Bit in Windows 7)

  • Open windows 7 OS Computer or laptop, then click on Start Menu, right-click on my computer, then click on properties.
  • A new window will open, just check System Type.
  • For a 64-bit version operating system: 64-bit Operating System appears there & For a 32-bit version operating system: 32-bit Operating System appears there.
  • In my case, it is showing “64-bit Operating system” that means, in my PC, 64 bit OS is present.

[step] Method 2 – Easiest method – online check-in 1 click [/step]

  • Simply visit this page – os_bit_checker.
  • After visiting this page, there will be showing or highlighted in the big bold letter – ” Your OS is Windows (any)* 64-bit or 32 bit“.
  • In my computer, there I showing – “Your OS is Windows 10* 64-bit” That means in my PC, 64 bit OS is present.

How to check-in Windows 8 ( Do I Have 32-Bit or 64-Bit in Windows 8)

  • Simply right-click on the start menu, then click on system.
  • A new window will open, So just check system type.
  • For a 64-bit version operating system: 64-bit Operating System appears there & For a 32-bit version operating system: 32-bit Operating System appears there.

How to check-in Windows XP ( Find out in an easy way)

  • Click on Start.
  • Right-click on My Computer, and then click Properties.
  • If you don’t see “x64 Edition” listed there just below system, then you’re running the 32-bit version of Windows XP. If “x64 Edition” is listed under System, you’re running the 64-bit version of Windows XP.
